The HR department at the Department of Secondary and Adult Education is growing, and we are now looking for an HR consultant who wants to work close to operations and provide qualified support to the department's managers. With us, you will become part of an organization in development, where learning and innovation are a natural part of everyday life.
Job Description
As an operational HR consultant, you have an important and varied role where you support managers with both operational and strategic HR issues. In your consultative and coaching role, you support, challenge, and inspire the managers in the operations while serving as qualified support in areas such as working environment, salary reviews, rehabilitation, transition and internal mobility, as well as labor law and conflict resolution.
With your experience and confidence in the profession, you identify needs, make qualified assessments, and take the initiative in change and development work. You actively contribute to the department's overall goals and play an important role in further developing our common ways of working. Furthermore, you will drive organizational change, working environment cases, and labor law cases from start to finish. Additionally, you support management teams in their work with personnel, organization, and collaboration with trade union partners.
Together with your colleagues, you drive and develop HR work forward. You share knowledge, support each other in complex cases, and contribute with different experiences to strengthen the HR function as a whole. In addition, you plan and conduct training initiatives within your specialist areas for both colleagues and managers in the organization. In our joint mission, we create the conditions for the operations to achieve their goals in an efficient and sustainable way.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (180 credits) with a focus on HR/behavioral science/organization or another focus that the employer deems equivalent
- Several years of documented experience in a generalist HR role, combined with in-depth specialist competence in one or more HR areas
- Experience in planning and conducting training and lectures
- Good digital competence
- Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

About the Workplace
The HR department consists of a total of 16 employees who professionally provide the department management and operation managers with support and guidance in issues spanning the entire HR area. The department is led by an HR Manager and a Unit Manager.
The Department of Secondary and Adult Education is one of three school departments in the City of Malmö. We are responsible for the development and implementation of secondary school and adult education. Today, we have nearly 1,700 employees, and we are located throughout Malmö. We work to ensure that young people and adults achieve their educational goals and become active in our society. We exist to create the best possible conditions for the people of Malmö to grow through lifelong learning.
