Responsibilities

In the Functional Support Administration, we work together to deliver and develop the best possible support and service for people with disabilities. For us, this means developing effective solutions based on insights into our target group's needs, starting from our societal mission and the opportunities provided by modern technology. Automation and the ability to handle and use data to conduct digital business development are crucial for our ability to meet the demands placed on us.

Your responsibilities as a Digitalization Project Manager include, among other things:

• Lead and coordinate digital development initiatives; in close collaboration with the administration's operations, the City of Malmö, and suppliers
• Structured working methods; create project plans and implementation plans, and be responsible for ongoing documentation and follow-up
• Strategies and plans; manage and develop strategies, directions, and methods within the information supply and digitalization area
• Analyze and evaluate; conduct preliminary studies, market analyses, and investigations prior to strategic decisions, assess benefits, consequences, and opportunities, and prioritize needs
• Environmental scanning; keep up to date with societal trends and technological developments such as AI, automation, data analysis, etc.

Qualifications

Since the project manager role involves driving change based on both technical solutions and processes and practical working methods, you need to be confident in yourself, able to communicate a clear vision, and able to lead changes with openness and great engagement. At the same time, with a clear focus on deliveries and results within given economic and time frames.

You are a good communicator and have the ability to tailor ideas and concepts to the target audience, are analytical, and have the ability to switch between details and the overall perspective. You are creative, think new thoughts, and work agilely with a good technical understanding of digital solutions, user-centered development, and business benefit in focus.

You will have a high degree of freedom, and we expect you to take responsibility and be self-reliant. You build networks, take initiative, and have a solution-oriented approach. You gain energy from finding and introducing improvements and new innovative working methods together with others. You are careful, structured, and keen to maintain high quality in what you deliver. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

We are looking for someone who:

• has relevant academic education at university/college with a focus appropriate for the assignment
• has many years of documented experience in driving projects and development work (business and service development) with a focus on digitalization
• has experience in modeling information, processes, or systems
• has extensive experience from working with suppliers, collaborative projects, and procurements, as well as good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
• has very good Swedish language skills in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• work within municipalities, regions, or other public operations
• process development, process mapping
• service design, UX
• driving development and change work in large and complex organizations

About the Workplace

The Digitalization Unit is located under the Health and Development Department. In close collaboration with our operational departments, we are responsible for and drive the administration's digitalization issues as well as the development and management of operational systems and workplaces.

In the Functional Support Administration, over 3,400 employees work together to create and develop even better support and service for people with disabilities. Our operations are within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), social psychiatry, personal assistance, escorts and substitutes, and health care. Also, severely ill children who are cared for at home are part of our mission.
