Rosenborgsenheten is a comprehensive school (grades F–9) in Södertälje Municipality. Majtorpskolan houses grades F–3 and the after-school center, while Rosenborgsskolan hosts grades 4–9, a cross-municipal special education group, and adapted comprehensive school. In total, Rosenborgsenheten has over 900 students. There is a music profile and a sports profile in the lower secondary school, attracting students from across the entire municipality.

We are now looking for a French teacher, and potentially another subject, for grades 6–9. Together with your colleagues, you will make the students' entire school day both safe and full of knowledge!

Your Responsibilities

As a French teacher (and potentially another subject) at Rosenborgsenheten, you will collaborate with skilled and professional colleagues regarding our students. You will teach French in grades 6–9 and also serve as a mentor for one of the lower secondary classes. Since the school offers a theoretical profile in addition to the music and sports profiles, teaching students in this profile may become relevant depending on your subject expertise.

We want our students to be involved and feel secure in an inspiring learning environment, offering them varied teaching and activities. At the school, we work to develop our teaching methods, placing great emphasis on planning, implementation, and follow-up of education, as well as relationship building. Together with colleagues, you will actively work to develop student learning. It is of utmost importance that you have a positive attitude towards our students and a strong ability to see their potential. As a person, you need to be solution-focused and development-oriented, with good communication skills with students, guardians, and colleagues. You thrive in an environment that demands high flexibility, initiative, and social competence. We are open to new ideas, have the courage to try, develop, and learn. Part of the work involves continuous documentation, providing support in investigations, and supporting other educators.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a qualified, skilled, and driven subject teacher in French and preferably another subject, with eligibility to teach grades 7–9. We place great emphasis on teamwork and pedagogical leadership. Your fundamental outlook is characterized by seeing possibilities and having a positive and inclusive attitude.

• You conduct result analyses, evaluate, and follow up on your work.
• You are well-versed in Lgr22 and the regulatory documents within your profession.
• You see the benefits of close collaboration and understand the importance of creating good relationships at all levels.

Requirements:

• Degree with teacher certification and eligibility to teach French.
• Good digital competence.
• You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

Merits:

• Eligibility in additional subjects.
• Experience working with the Swedish National Agency for Education's assessment support.
• Experience in mentoring.
