Mariekällskolan is a municipal school for grades 4-9 located centrally in Södertälje Municipality. The school has approximately 500 students and just over 70 employees. We are a multicultural school and are constantly working to develop and improve our working methods to meet the needs of all students.

Learning and safety are at the forefront, and we regularly follow up on results and attendance for all students, supported by an active student health team. The school's value base rests on a culture of responsibility where it is important that everyone participates in defining needs and prioritizes together based on available resources.

Your Responsibilities

You will be part of the working group for grades 7-9 at Mariekällskolan, where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for the subjects Mathematics and Science (NO) in grades 7-9. Shared mentorship for a class in the lower secondary school is included in the position. At the school, we work to make teaching accessible for all students, using a common lesson structure and language- and knowledge-developing working methods (SOKA). Together with the school leadership and dedicated educators in the working group, as well as the Student Health Team (EHT) and safety team, we collaborate for every student's right to learning, safety, and development. As a teacher with us, you are ready to test and retest your teaching, individually and together with the working group, to reach all students. You actively participate in our collegial learning meetings (KLM) which are based on the needs of the operations.

Requirements:

• You are eligible to teach Mathematics and the natural sciences, with a teacher's degree.
• You are well acquainted with the steering documents and the school as an organization.

Merits:

• You have good knowledge of NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) as well as language- and knowledge-developing working methods.
• We would appreciate if you have a few years of experience working in schools, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply.

The position is a permanent full-time (100%) position starting in August 2026.
