We are an F–9 comprehensive school with approximately 200 students, located in Vårberg, Skärholmen. About the Position

We are looking for an engaged and flexible teacher who wants to work with us at the middle school level. The position covers approximately 40% and is suitable for you who enjoy working closely with students and being an important support in their development.

Responsibilities

• As a Science teacher in grades 4–5, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in the natural science subjects according to the current curriculum. You create an stimulating and safe learning environment where students' curiosity, investigative approach, and knowledge development are at the center.
• The position includes:
• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in biology, physics, and chemistry for students in grades 4–5.
• Adapting teaching based on students' different prerequisites and needs.
• Assessing, documenting, and following up on students' knowledge development.
• Working with hands-on and practical activities that spark students' interest in natural sciences.
• Collaborating with colleagues in work teams and subject groups to develop teaching and school operations.

Qualifications

Certified teacher within Natural Science subjects for Grades 4–6.

Experience working in schools or with children/young people is an advantage.

You are clear, confident, and relationship-building.

You have a good ability to adapt teaching to different needs and levels.
