About the Workplace

This autumn, we are a school with approximately 410 students in grades F-8, with the lower secondary section being gradually expanded one grade level at a time. The school is located right next to Edsviken and Ulriksdal Palace Park, meaning we are close to nature while being only 12 minutes by subway from central Stockholm.

The lower secondary section features completely newly renovated facilities where the environment has been optimized for effective learning for everyone. We are now looking for a teacher who wants to be part of our team!

What does the job entail?

We are looking for a certified teacher in Social Studies (So) and Swedish. You will be part of the grade 7-9 team, teaching in completely newly renovated facilities. The position also includes mentorship for grade 8.

Together with other teachers, you will be responsible for the pedagogical operations. You will be part of a team that designs and develops the operations, laying a solid foundation for student development. The role encompasses all aspects of your subjects, from developing ideas and planning work to creating and evaluating outcomes. You will conduct lessons, perform pedagogical documentation, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen. In our school development, we focus on accessible learning and view collaboration as the key to shared learning and improved student results.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach grades 7-9 in Social Studies and Swedish.
• have experience working as a teacher in lower secondary school.
• are well-versed in all parts of the curriculum and other relevant regulatory documents.
• are familiar with digital tools, using them creatively in teaching as well as for personal planning, follow-up, and documentation.
• have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• are familiar with the Swedish School Curriculum Lgr 22.

You are familiar with and adhere to the professional ethical principles for teachers and have the ability to promote democratic values.
