About Robinson Valsjön

Robinson Valsjön is a growing F–6 school in the scenic area of Åkersberga. The school opened in autumn 2022 with preschool class and grade 1, and is growing organically with one new grade each year. By autumn 2026, we will have students in grades F–5 with a total of approximately 110 students. The school building is new and nestled in the area around Valsjön – a place that inspires both learning and well-being.

At Robinson, we work with experiential and subject-integrated learning. We believe that long-term learning is built on students experiencing, exploring, and participating. For our younger students, nature is a natural place for teaching, while older students get to discover society and its functions.

Are a certified teacher for grades 4–6 who wants to contribute to the continued development of our operations. We are looking for you who have a secure and clear leadership style, create good working peace, and build engaging and meaningful learning situations for the students. You take initiative, collaborate easily, and want to be an active part of a team where we together drive the teaching forward. Experience in outdoor pedagogy is meritorious, as is a few years of experience in the teaching profession.

With us, you plan and conduct teaching in close collaboration with the work team and contribute to our experiential and subject-integrated approach. The assignment involves teaching in grades 4–5, both in mixed-age groups and to some extent in single grades.

You have a holistic perspective on student development and a good ability to see each child's unique prerequisites. With an inclusive attitude, clear structure, and a solution-focused approach, you contribute to a secure, stimulating, and developmental learning environment.

We are looking for you who are responsible, responsive, and secure in meetings with both students and colleagues. You are used to planning, prioritizing, and driving the work forward – always with the student's best interest in focus and with a strong desire to make a difference together with others.
