About the Role

Moank is a Swedish fintech company offering digital financial services for both private individuals and businesses. Through data-driven analysis and modern technology, they develop smart credit and financing solutions that simplify economic processes. On behalf of Moank, we are now looking for an Accountant to join their Operations team for a long-term, full-time assignment. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations team, focusing on ensuring that financial data matches between the bank and the accounts receivable ledger. You will take on significant responsibility for handling discrepancies and developing payment routines in a dynamic environment. You will be working at Moank's office located on Mäster Samuelsgatan, where an "office first" policy applies.

This is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on behalf of Moank. We are looking for someone who can start immediately and view the assignment as a long-term opportunity, as there may be a chance for direct permanent hiring at Moank in the future.

Responsibilities

The role involves a dedicated focus on accuracy and numerical control, where you independently drive the work with reconciliations and payment flows to ensure the quality of the accounting.

• Perform daily reconciliations between the bank and the accounts receivable ledger
• Handle and administer customer accounts receivable
• Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in the accounting
• Develop and manage payment processes
• Work in self-developed factoring systems
• Use Excel for advanced data handling and control

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience with customer accounts receivable and reconciliations
• Has very good knowledge of Excel
• Has very good proficiency in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have

• Knowledge of Fortnox or other accounting systems
• Experience in payment processing
• Post-secondary education in economics, accounting, or financial management
