Do you want to work in a key role where system administration and payroll expertise meet? On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an experienced Payroll Systems Specialist with in-depth knowledge of HR+ 8. Here you will have the opportunity to take overall responsibility for both systems and payroll processes in a dynamic environment, together with an experienced team handling approximately 2,000 payrolls under various collective agreements.

This is a long-term consultancy assignment starting on September 1st and running through October 2027. The client is located in beautiful premises in central Stockholm. The work is performed primarily on-site at the office, at least 4 days a week.

About the Role

In this role, you hold a central position within a competent payroll team. You will work both operationally and strategically, focusing on system administration in HR+ 8, while also being involved in ongoing payroll processing.

You are the team's expert within the payroll system, driving and ensuring that the system functions optimally, is up-to-date, and meets the business's needs. The role involves many internal contact points, where you collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT, as well as supporting managers and employees on matters related to both payroll and systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Be the primary systems specialist for HR+ 8, including administration and development.
• Ensure operation, functionality, and quality in the payroll system.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, tests, and changes.
• Follow up on and handle incidents, as well as drive dialogue with the system vendor.
• Participate in and quality-assure monthly payroll runs.
• Responsible for holiday year transitions and year-end processes.
• Handle complex payroll issues such as benefits, expense reports, and employment certificates.
• Ensure correct application of various collective agreements.
• Contribute to the development and efficiency of processes, routines, and working methods.
• Act as a support and advisor to the organization on system and payroll-related matters.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Advanced education in payroll or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in qualified and independent payroll work.
• Documented experience as a systems specialist or system manager within payroll.
• Very good knowledge of HR+ 8.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and payroll-related flows.
• Experience working with multiple collective agreements.
• Good knowledge of Excel and payroll reporting.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English.
