At the Regulatory Affairs Unit of the Swedish Medical Products Agency, we are looking for a new colleague who, together with us, wants to contribute to ensuring that approved medicines are safe and effective.
Our operations
The Regulatory Affairs Unit is part of the Business Area Permits. We consist of approximately 50 employees divided into three groups: the New Application Group, the Variation Group, and the Follow-up Group. We are responsible for regulatory investigations, advice, and the coordination of, among other things, new applications, variations, and renewals of marketing authorizations. We are now looking for a Regulatory Affairs Officer for a fixed-term position in the Variation Group.
Your responsibilities
As a Regulatory Affairs Officer, you are responsible for the regulatory assessment of applications and act as a regulatory expert for certain types of cases. The role involves answering and guiding internal and external inquiries regarding regulatory matters. You have a coordinating role for each individual case within the Swedish Medical Products Agency, towards pharmaceutical companies and authorities in Europe. You handle several cases in parallel, which places demands on your ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and communicate. You ensure that investigations are carried out on time, in good collaboration with expert functions, in accordance with current laws and guidelines, and that the results are communicated and documented correctly. The work also includes administration, including schedules, templates, and quality review of documentation.
Your background
You have a university education in pharmacy. You have excellent ability to absorb information and express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English. You generally have good IT skills and adapt easily to new systems. You have experience working with regulatory procedures. Relevant experience from working with an authority in the near future is meritorious.
Your personal qualities
You are flexible and solution-oriented and remain open to changed conditions and situations. You have excellent ability to prioritize, structure, and complete work within established timeframes. You are receptive and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common results. You have excellent ability to compile and structure information and can communicate it in a trustworthy manner.
