Your Role
As a Communications Specialist, you will be part of the Corporate Communication team within our Corporate Affairs department, where we work together to strengthen Lidl's brand and reputation. As a Communications Specialist, you will have a broad operational role where you work both proactively and reactively to create and implement communication initiatives and engaging content.
The role involves a number of exciting tasks, including:

As a person, you are proactive and drive your work forward independently, while also being a humble team player who thrives in cross-functional collaboration to achieve common goals.
You are curious, flexible, and have the ability to see opportunities in both our external environment and our large organization. To succeed in the role, you are structured and quality-conscious, with a good ability to quickly get up to speed in new areas. Since our daily life is ever-changing, we see that you are motivated by a high pace and have a good ability to reprioritize when needed.
We also see that you:
- Are a very sharp writer with a good understanding of target groups and messages.
- Have documented experience in research and creating engaging communication.
- Have a strong interest in the grocery retail industry and societal issues.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Preferably have experience working with internal communication and internal channels.
It is also a big plus if you have:
- Experience in project managing and organizing both internal and external events.
- Good knowledge of German.
What We Offer
For us, it is important that our employees thrive—in every way. Therefore, we offer work in an environment characterized by our core values: performance, respect, trust, down-to-earth attitude, and community. Because we are growing, you can grow. Quickly. We support you on your journey towards more responsibility and new challenges.
You will become part of a large team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and helps out. Sometimes you will find us at our state-of-the-art headquarters, where we have access to a gym and lovely discounted prices in the restaurant. But of course, we are also a flexible workplace with the possibility of hybrid work. You receive everything from wellness benefits, parental leave supplements, and employee discounts in our stores to free counseling from a psychologist, lawyer, and economist, as well as numerous offers via our benefits portal. Naturally, you are also covered by collective agreements and a pension plan. We enable fair pay within the company through a non-discriminatory pay system.
