Wisby Gymnasium has approximately 1,700 students and around 185 employees, of whom about 170 are teachers. We offer 16 national programs, four introductory programs, and one nationally recruiting education.

Your responsibilities

You will teach the subject of Social Studies. Teaching includes planning lessons, conducting instruction, supporting and challenging students in their learning, and grading students' knowledge at the end of the course according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum plans.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Social Studies in national upper secondary education programs.

As a person, you are a cheerful, positive, and clear leader with a strong interest in meeting students with varying levels of knowledge and motivation. You see students' unique abilities and driving forces and use your knowledge and creativity to develop both students and the organization.

You also have a positive approach when interacting with colleagues, see the strength in collaboration, and show great commitment to your work. You have the student's needs at the center and use a solution-focused approach even in difficult situations.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and experience. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
