Description

Arbrå School is now looking for a teacher in textile crafts. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date in the autumn term of 2026.

Arbråskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 300 students in two buildings – the Yellow House, where grades F-2 and the after-school center are located, and the White House, where grades 3-9 are located. Arbråskolan is a learning organization with a positive work climate and competent teams focused on teaching. We value safety, well-being, and learning highly, and everyone should feel seen and included. All staff therefore work based on Positive Behavioral Support (PBS), with the goal of increasing well-being and school motivation for all students. Responsibilities

As a teacher in crafts, you will teach textile crafts. In addition to teaching, you will plan, conduct, evaluate, and analyze the pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and current regulatory documents. Through collaboration with other staff at the school, you will also work for the school's development and strive to create a good environment for both students and staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified comprehensive school teacher with eligibility to teach textile crafts in primary school. You are flexible, positive, enthusiastic, proactive, and work with high expectations for the goals. Great importance is placed on personality suitability, ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults, as well as being a good role model in other respects. Since you will be part of a work team together with colleagues, we see that you are a person with good responsibility and collaboration skills.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked based on Positive Behavioral Support (PBS).
