Job Description

We are looking for an engaged Teacher for School Age Educare (Fritidshem) at Gäverängeskolan in Ockelbo Municipality. Together with your work team, we want to create the best conditions and a safe school day for all students. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching in connection with the curriculum and its central content, in collaboration with your colleagues. As a teacher, you also collaborate with the Student Health Service.

Main responsibilities include, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and activities linked to the School Age Educare curriculum.
• Development of work in the School Age Educare and the school.
• Create and develop a good learning environment based on the curriculum and governing documents.

Qualifications

We see that you, as an applicant, are a certified Teacher for School Age Educare, preferably combined with the qualification to teach Physical Education and Health, Craft, or equivalent for grades F-3. Previous experience working in School Age Educare is considered meritorious.

You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and can use your knowledge effectively in your daily work. To succeed in the role, you have a professional approach and work towards building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are an engaged educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great emphasis on adapting your teaching to your students' different prerequisites and needs.

An extract from the criminal record is required upon employment.

The position is permanent, but a probationary period may apply. The position is 50% but may increase to 80% in combination with other requested qualifications.
