The schools have well-functioning student health teams.

In the red building of Lillhagsskolan, the Preschool Class – Grade 3, as well as the after-school centers Doppingen, Svanen, Tärnan, and Viggen, are located. Grade 4–9 and the After-School Club are located in the "White House".

Job Description

Are you attracted to leading and motivating students while creating interest and introducing them to the school world for lifelong learning? Then we are looking for you for our preschool class at Lillhagsskolan.

Together with your colleagues, you design a good, joyful, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching based on all students' needs and prerequisites. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines in collaboration with other educators, student health services, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Class responsibility.
• You are responsible for planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of the teaching.
• You support and challenge students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt the teaching to their different needs and prerequisites.

Working as a preschool teacher in the preschool class means you are employed in a holiday-service position. You will have close collaboration with colleagues in both the preschool class and the after-school center. During parts of the day, work in the after-school activity is also included, which provides the opportunity for continuity and wholeness in the students' day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach in the preschool class.
• Knowledge of the curriculum for the compulsory school.
• The ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing, as this is required in the work in dialogue with colleagues, guardians, and students.
• Good knowledge of, and experience with, working with digital tools, as large parts of the teaching as well as the planning take place digitally.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• A non-hierarchical approach in your collaboration with others.
• The ability to spread calm and stability and adapt your actions based on the situation.
• Skilled at leading, motivating, and inspiring students and getting them to develop and feel well.
• In social contexts, you are proactive, have the ability to create trusting relationships, and make others feel secure.
• The ability to structure and plan your work well.

As a final candidate, you must be able to present a police certificate of good conduct for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
