In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Digital development has long been a natural part of our operations, and every student has access to their own computer as support in teaching. Murgårdsskolan is located centrally in Sandviken and is close to everything, including nature. Göransson Arena, Ferrum Arena, and Parkbadet are within walking distance. For the school year 26/27, Murgårdsskolan will be a grades 3-9 school, with approximately 300 students in grades 7-9.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

As a teacher with us, you become an important part of creating teaching where student development is at the center. You work both independently and together with the work team to develop teaching in a sustainable and thoughtful way.

As a teaching teacher in mathematics and natural sciences (NO), you work to strengthen students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and understanding of technical and scientific connections. The teaching alternates between theory, laboratory work, and practical exercises.

You contribute by:

• Creating teaching that starts from the students' needs and prerequisites
• Being a clear leader and role model in the classroom
• Building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Actively participating in the school's development work within digitalization, values, and language development

We make each other better by:

• Sharing experiences and knowledge in collegial forums
• Working with a solution-focused approach
• Developing teaching together in work teams
• Having a shared responsibility for the students' safety and learning

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students acquire knowledge in different ways. You adapt the teaching based on the individual's needs and create conditions for learning. A structured working method helps you plan and follow up on teaching in a clear and effective way.

Collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. You work attentively together with colleagues, share experiences, and contribute to an open climate where teaching is developed jointly. In a changing school environment, it is also important to be able to absorb new ideas and working methods and to see the opportunities in them. By being development-oriented, you contribute to the school's collective learning.

For the assignment, the following is required:

• Teacher certification with eligibility in Math/NO
• Good knowledge of the primary school's steering documents
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing

Good digital competence and experience in using digital tools are meritorious.

The position will be filled if required decisions are made.
