About Södergården Preschool

Södergården Preschool is located in the south and houses seven departments spread across two buildings. There are many parks nearby, including Södra Kolonin. Our education focuses on exploration, discovery, and allowing freedom. The preschool is engaged in its own cultivation through school gardens that invite play and learning. We continuously work with education for sustainable development.

We operate in a multicultural area and work extensively with language and communication, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and TAC (Total Communication Approach).

Job Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues in the work team, you, as a preschool teacher, have the main responsibility for the education at the preschool. The work includes planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the activities according to decided goals and guidelines.

Qualifications

We are looking for you, a reflective preschool teacher with good self-leadership skills, to join Södergården Preschool:

• Who has a degree from the preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with eligibility to teach in preschool and preschool class, or is currently studying the preschool teacher program with a graduation date of June 2026.
• Who is familiar with and has knowledge of the preschool curriculum.
• Who has knowledge of and experience working with digital tools.
• Who has good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We also consider it an advantage if you have experience with children in need of special support, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), TAC (Total Communication Approach), and experience working in a multicultural preschool.

As a final candidate, you must be able to provide a police certificate of good conduct for work within schools or preschools.
