RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute teacher (house substitute), you are a flexible resource who covers for regular staff absences. You work in different grade levels and subjects, which means you need to quickly adapt to new situations and create structure in the classroom.

You contribute by:

• Creating safety and calm for students in various teaching situations
• Supporting students in their learning and social development
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Supporting each other in challenges and development
• Working together to ensure all students succeed

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, you need to be good at collaborating and building good relationships with both students and colleagues. Sensitivity and clear communication are important to contribute to a safe and functional environment. Pedagogical understanding of how people learn in different ways is also needed, so that teaching can be adapted to students' needs. A structured approach with planning and order makes it easier to handle the assignment and create calm in the classroom.

For the assignment, the following are required:

• Teaching license (Lärarlegitimation)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written

Previous experience working in schools and good IT skills are meritorious.
