Nordanstig Municipality consists of several school locations with a total of approximately 900 students and a shared upper secondary level (grades 7-9) in Bergsjö. Bergsjö School is a comprehensive school (grades 1-9) with approximately 450 students. The Adapted Comprehensive School (grades 1-10) also operates in the same facilities.

Together, we work towards higher goal achievement and a more equitable school system. The Swedish Schools Inspectorate, Umeå University, SPSM, Mid Sweden University, and RUC-X are some of the partners we collaborate with to achieve this.

We strive for equity and equal conditions between schools, as all students meet at Bergsjö School, which houses the municipality's only upper secondary level. We focus on smooth transitions and a reflective environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop and achieve good results.

We are looking for

A qualified teacher with a license in Art and one other subject.

About the job

If you choose to join us, you will be part of a teaching team with several teachers who teach the same classes as you.

Your daily work will encompass all tasks included in a teacher's role. Individually and together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and ensure high-quality teaching that creates context and challenges students at the right level. Together with the school staff, you will contribute to collegial learning. Teaching takes place in grades 6-9.

Personal qualities

As a person, you have strong leadership skills, an understanding of people's different prerequisites for acquiring knowledge, and the ability to adapt your teaching accordingly. You involve students in the planning process and can visualize and further develop students' learning processes. You reflect systematically on your work, both individually and together with your colleagues, and are committed to creating a safe learning environment characterized by study quiet, trust, and respect.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Please bring a current extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register of convictions to any potential interview. Selection and contact are made on an ongoing basis. We offer a wellness allowance of 2,000 SEK per year and the option to exchange vacation days. We strive for a balanced gender distribution in our operations.

Nordanstig Municipality is located in northern Hälsingland, near the geographical center of Sweden between Hudiksvall and Sundsvall.
