Do you want to inspire a love for music in children and young people while developing your own teaching? We are now looking for a piano teacher who wants to help shape the future of the cultural school in Kävlinge.

About the position

Here, you will be one of three piano teachers. You will teach both individually and in groups, meeting students of different ages and skill levels. You will play an important role in developing the piano subject and helping more students discover and develop their musical abilities.

You will work together with an engaged and competent team where we enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas. At the same time, you have great freedom to plan your teaching and develop your subject. We are also in a development phase where new working methods, such as digital teaching, may become relevant in the future.

Working hours are primarily in the afternoon and evening. Weekend work may occur.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are relationship-building, communicative, and creative. You find it easy to collaborate and contribute to an open and positive work climate. At the same time, you are independent and take responsibility for your work. You are attentive in your meetings with students and adapt your teaching to create motivation and development.

A piano pedagogical degree or equivalent is required for the position. Experience from a cultural school or similar activity, broad genre competence, and a B-driver's license are meritorious.

About the employment

Selection will take place on an ongoing basis.

Here, you will work together with just over twenty other educators in a team with a very good atmosphere. We teach music, theater, magic, live broadcasting and film, comic drawing, as well as fantasy and color. We have nearly 800 unique students in the voluntary activity.

The teaching takes place in many different locations in the municipality and is organized as both individual and group teaching. We have our own premises and premises that we share with the primary school. Regular performances and events are part of everyday life, and we strive to be a joy to all municipal residents.
