Do you want to help create a safe, curious, and educational everyday life for children? We are now looking for a qualified preschool teacher who wants to become part of our team. Here, you will have the opportunity to shape a preschool where children's curiosity, learning, and participation are at the center.
About the position
Here, play is the foundation of learning, and we consciously use play in our teaching. As a pedagogue, you are present, active, and co-researching together with the children. Through planned and spontaneous play, we create play worlds and learning environments where children develop language, imagination, and social skills.
Social sustainability permeates our operations, and we actively work for safety, good relationships, and a strong community where every child feels seen, included, and significant.
We have a conscious language-developing approach where read-alouds, conversations, and play strengthen children's language, concepts, and vocabulary. Together, we develop our operations through an investigative and reflective approach with a focus on high quality and equity.
As a preschool teacher, you have a central role in planning, implementing, and developing teaching based on the curriculum. You create a safe and inclusive environment where all children can develop. You collaborate closely with your colleagues and build good relationships with guardians. The role also includes documenting and following up on children's learning as part of our systematic quality work.
Here, you will meet engaged colleagues and a work environment where we support each other through collegial learning and support from lead teachers. You will have the opportunity to influence the operations, develop in your professional role, and participate in competence development.
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher and have a clear focus on the child. You see children as competent individuals and want to develop the preschool's education. You are engaged, curious, and see possibilities in your work.
You are secure in your role, clear in your communication, and collaborate well with both colleagues and guardians. You contribute to a positive work climate and value good relationships in everyday life.
We are looking for you who:
- have a preschool teacher degree
- have a clear child focus and see every child's possibilities
- are engaged, positive, and solution-oriented
- enjoy collaborating and creating good relationships
- communicate clearly in speech and writing
We place great importance on personal suitability.

Ljunggården Preschool is located in the nature-rich Furulund with proximity to the train station and good commuting opportunities.
Here, children's curiosity, communication, and exploration are at the center. We work with sustainable learning where language is an important part of the education. The nature around the preschool is used actively as a learning environment, and through daily outdoor stays, children get the opportunity to discover, investigate, and develop an understanding of their surroundings. Sustainable development is a natural part of our operations and permeates children's learning through play, exploration, and shared experiences.
Our thematic approach starts from a common children's book that follows the children through their education. Through language, imagination, and play, children get to explore different projects, develop their creativity, and strengthen their ability to communicate and interact with others.
We work in smaller groups to create safety, close relationships, and individual handling. Through a common focus on progression, we develop our learning environments, play worlds, and work on social strategies based on children's age, experiences, and needs. We offer an education where children get to grow and develop step by step through play, exploration, and community.
Together we develop our profession and create the best conditions for children's learning and development.
