Job Description
Möllevångsskolan is looking for a Spanish teacher with a 50% position, with the possibility of increasing to 100% for those who are also qualified to teach Swedish or English.
In this role, you will teach Spanish to students in grades 6–9. At a 100% position, the role also includes teaching Swedish or English, as well as mentoring students in grades 7–9. As a teacher here, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, as well as assessing students' knowledge development. Planning is done both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
You support students' academic and social development and encourage them to take initiative, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher qualified to teach Spanish in grades 6–9. If you are also qualified in Swedish or English, you will teach one of these subjects in grades 7–9.
You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and the ability to translate them into daily work. Furthermore, you have well-developed didactic and pedagogical competence and can create structure, study quietness, and a safe learning environment for the students throughout the school day. You work based on evidence-based research and use relevant digital tools effectively. We also expect you to have good competence in creating accessible learning environments for all students, as well as experience with low-affective handling and working with students within NPF (Neuropsychological Function Impairment).
As a person, you are professional, relationship-building, and have an easy time collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues. You meet others with respect and curiosity, are structured and responsible, and actively contribute to a positive work climate.
