Now is your chance! Are you the one we are looking for? At Apelgårdsskolan, we are currently recruiting a Primary School Teacher for After-School Care (Fritidshem). You will join our team at the after-school center and become part of a wonderful group consisting of many primary school teachers for after-school care and others, all striving for the best school for every student. At Apelgårdsskolan, you are offered opportunities for development, the chance to work together with several primary school teachers, the opportunity to develop the operations together with colleagues and school management, and exciting assignments. During this academic year, the school focuses on reading, while the after-school center has a development project where we work with scientific methods and proven experience. You are led by a manager who is receptive, clear, and works with trust-based leadership. As a primary school teacher for after-school care with us, you plan and conduct teaching and assess students in our after-school center. Based on the curriculum and regulatory documents, we together create a safe environment in the after-school center aimed at strengthening our students in both their knowledge development and personal development, while they enjoy a meaningful free time.

In the after-school center, we also strive to promote diverse contacts, social cohesion, and strengthen group relationships. While our students are at school, you collaborate with our school staff. Together, we create an operation that meets our students and guardians in the best possible way based on their individual needs!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified Primary School Teacher for After-School Care. It is meritorious if you have the qualification to teach music. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience from the profession and have worked with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF).

You have good insight and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern and develops your work based on evidence-based research, and with good knowledge and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. To fit as a primary school teacher for after-school care with us, it is important that you find it easy to collaborate with various professional competencies, are receptive, non-hierarchical, structured, and communicative. We see that you are clear in your leadership and secure in your role as a primary school teacher for after-school care. That you are passionate about working specifically in after-school care is seen as a matter of course!
