Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a social worker with good knowledge of the school's mission and social issues. Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities is highly meritorious.

As a school counselor, you will be part of the school's student health team. In the student health team, you are responsible, together with other professional groups, for the selection of interventions/methods we make for students based on questions raised by educators or other staff.

The school counselor also actively participates in the school's systematic quality work, with a special focus on issues regarding safety, well-being, harassment, and discrimination. The work includes supervising educators on psychosocial issues concerning students, as well as curative conversations with students. It also involves conducting courses for students, such as Life Skills. The role also includes collaboration with other societal resources (social services, psychiatry, habilitation, leisure activities, police, etc.).

We are looking for an outgoing person with good pedagogical skills and strong leadership qualities. Teamwork and team development are important parts of the job, which is why good collaboration skills are a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position is between 60-100%.

Qualifications

We are looking for a counselor with a degree in social work and experience working with young people aged 15-19. Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities is highly meritorious.

Your ability to listen to the needs of both students and staff, so that we can provide young people with what they need, is of utmost importance. We also place great emphasis on collaboration skills, as the position involves a lot of collaboration with other school staff. Having experience and knowledge of the resources available outside of school for young people is of great importance.
