RESPONSIBILITIES
Sjöarpsskolan is a unique adapted upper secondary school in southern Sweden. We are a small school with great resources and long experience, where every student receives support and the opportunity to develop at their own pace. The school is open to both day students and students who live in our boarding school during school weeks.
Our nature-rich environment invites to many outdoor activities, and the entire operation is characterized by health, well-being, and community. At Sjöarpsskolan, we work to ensure that all students get a little further than they themselves think is possible. We challenge and encourage them so that they all reach our shared vision: Learn, Live, Life.
In the boarding school, we work closely with the students and create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful evening environment. We are now looking for you who want to make a difference in the students' daily lives and become a valuable part of our boarding school team during the autumn term of 2026. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in a creative and educational environment, plan and carry out activities, and contribute to safety and community for students with different needs.
Each student has their own routines regarding their accommodation, such as laundry, cleaning, and leisure activities. The work includes documentation for each student, close collaboration with the students' mentors and school staff, as well as regular contact with the students' guardians.
The position involves evening and night duty.
We place great importance on personal suitability. Here, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the students' daily lives in a creative and engaged work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as documentation is part of the work.
- Good digital competence.
- A B-class driver's license is required as driving students between different activities is part of the job.
It is an advantage if:
- You are transparent.
- You are secure, responsible, and have a professional approach when working with youth.
- You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team.
- You are structured and can create clear routines for the students during their leisure time.
- You are flexible and can adapt to the students' different needs.
- You are committed to creating a safe and meaningful leisure time for the students in the boarding school.
