The Employment and Welfare Administration consists of Individual and Family Care, Support, Service and Housing, as well as Education, Sickness Benefit and Prevention. We are now looking for a child secretary who wants to contribute to ensuring that our operations maintain high quality for our placed children and young people.

The Placement Unit consists of three child secretaries, two family home secretaries, and a unit manager. The unit's employees have many years of experience and different competencies. We are now looking for you with experience in authority work, who together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues wants to work so that our children get the best possible time during their placement. RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of child secretary, the task includes following up on care and interventions for children and young people aged 0–20 placed in family homes, treatment homes, and Swedish Institute for Children and Youth (SIS) homes according to the Social Services Act (SoL) or the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU). This is primarily done through home visits in family homes, treatment homes, and SIS, individual conversations with the placed child, and conversations with guardians and other professional contacts in close collaboration with the family home secretary. The work involves travel in the local area but also to other parts of Sweden. In your work, you ensure that the care is legally secure and that the children get the same opportunities for development as other children.

With us, as a child secretary, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the work of creating a good and safe upbringing environment for placed children. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a social worker and who want to be an important part of our work and contribute to ensuring that placed children and young people receive the best possible support.

You are good at collaborating as well as working independently, you can express yourself well in speech and writing, and you enjoy and have an easy time creating good relationships.

A category B driver's license for a car with manual transmission is required.
