Furuboda Assistans is a private personal assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. Do you want a flexible and meaningful job where you can make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now looking for on-call personal assistants for our customers throughout Blekinge.

As an on-call employee, you work when regular assistants are absent, for example, due to illness or leave. This means you may sometimes be called in with short notice – a perfect side job for those who wish to combine it with studies, other work, or retirement.

About the assignments:

Our customers have different needs, but what they have in common is that the work as a personal assistant involves supporting a person in their daily life – at home, during leisure time, and sometimes at work or school. The tasks vary but can include everything from personal care to social support, practical chores, and active participation in the customer's interests.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible, flexible, and perceptive
• Has a good empathetic ability and enjoys helping others
• Is independent but also a good team player
• Has good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Has a driver's license – an advantage but not always a requirement

Previous experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare and social care is an advantage, but not a requirement. We value the right attitude, so training and introduction are provided upon starting.

Working hours:

Hourly employment as needed, day, evening, night, and weekends – by agreement.

Location:

Different locations within Blekinge County – for example, Karlskrona, Ronneby.
