Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented care agency with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our headquarters are located in Karlshamn, and we operate throughout southern Sweden. We are now looking for a personal assistant for an elderly woman in Karlshamn Municipality. You will work every other week for 2 weekdays and every other week for 4 days, including weekends. NOTE! The working hours are split shifts: 09:00–16:00 and 18:00–21:00, every day. The position is to be filled starting August 1st, but an introduction and temporary substitute role begin immediately. The woman lives in her own apartment.

We place great importance on personal chemistry and personal qualities. Experience as a personal assistant is desirable. Important: You must not have any physical limitations, as the work may involve assistance with transfers and help with rehabilitation training. You must not be allergic to animals and must be a non-smoker.

As a person, you must be responsible, sensitive, flexible, patient, and able to take initiative and adapt your work to the user's needs. You must have a good ability to read needs and wishes, even if they are not always expressed verbally. You should be calm, stable, and self-assured. A driver's license is required as you will be driving the user's car. The work pace is varied.

The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents and to follow established routines. The nature of the work also means that only female applicants are considered.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
