About the role

Working as a temporary staff member means working on an as-needed basis. You will be booked by the Staffing Unit via Time Care Pool and perform your duties at our facilities in Sölvesborg Municipality.

This role is suitable for you who want to work with people in need of support, service, and care, can work irregular hours, and step in with short notice. Here, you support our users in their daily lives in various ways, from helping with household chores to accompanying them on activities.

Within disability support, you can work in group homes, service apartments, as a personal assistant, or in child services. The operations follow the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). All operations are centered around the individual's needs.

Responsibilities

The tasks vary depending on the individual's needs and may include helping with personal care, meals, cleaning, walks, phone calls, and grocery shopping. The work also involves supporting, helping, and providing pedagogical support to users, as well as working in a clarifying and motivating manner. Days are often filled with fun activities and exciting adventures! You will make a difference every day.

The work involves shifts during the day, evening, weekend, and/or night. Night work can involve being awake or sleeping on call.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, structured, and focused on the user's needs. You enjoy collaborating, taking initiative, and contributing positive energy. It is important that you have a good and respectful attitude towards users, relatives, and colleagues.

We place great emphasis on who you are as a person; your willingness to learn and your engagement are more important than experience. If you have education or experience within healthcare and social care or child and youth activities, it is meritorious, but not a requirement.

Documentation and communication are an important part of the daily work, so you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. If you lack a passing grade in Swedish at the upper secondary level, a language test will be used to ensure competence. The recruiting manager may decide that a language test should be used even if there is a passing grade.

To work in several of our operations, you need to have a Category B driver's license, preferably have access to your own car, and be able to cycle.

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
• Start date: Rolling start dates.

Register Check

According to the Act (2026:43) on register checks when working in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities, you must be able to show an extract from the criminal record register when offered employment. If you are offered work within child services, you must also, according to the Act (2010:479) on register checks of personnel performing certain interventions for children with disabilities, be able to show an extract from the criminal record register.
