Treatment Specialist at Notavillan
Kommunsamverkan Cura Individutveckling is a municipal consortium whose members are the municipalities of Blekinge. Our mission is to provide services within the psychosocial and neuropsychiatric fields, where coordinated efforts offer significant benefits. We provide care, support, and treatment interventions for children, young people, and families. Within the field of autism spectrum disorder, we offer upper secondary education with boarding, group housing, and day activities.
Our core values – respect, engagement, security, development, and professionalism – permeate our entire operation. These values come to life through our leadership and employee philosophy, which is based on health-promoting factors.
Notavillan is an HVB (home for care and treatment) facility that receives children aged 0–18, with or without their parents, on assignment from the municipalities' social services. We have the capacity to accept emergency placements around the clock as well as placements for treatment or assessment. Our assessment period is typically 10 weeks. Notavillan offers both collective housing and private apartments. We also provide assessments and treatment in outpatient care.
At Notavillan, 14 treatment specialists work, two of whom are on continuous night duty. The on-site staff during weekdays also includes a kitchen and meal coordinator, a coordinator, an operations manager, and an assistant operations manager. Outside of these hours, a manager is on call.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who treats others with respect and warmth. You want to contribute to creating a safe and well-functioning environment for vulnerable children and families. The individuals we meet are often in crisis and may have experienced trauma due to past experiences, which places high demands on our approach to care and qualified nursing.
As a treatment specialist at Notavillan, you will participate in providing care, protection, and treatment for children and families. You will also contribute to the assessment work. At Notavillan, you will work with practical and concrete client work, engaging in conversations and activities with the residents. The role also includes documentation such as implementation plans, case notes, and monthly reports. All employees share a collective responsibility for all tasks at the facility, such as cleaning and laundry.
Qualifications
We require you to have at least a 2-year relevant post-secondary education with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. You should have experience in similar work with children, preferably within HVB (residential care) settings.
The job duties place high demands on the ability to build contact and relationships, as well as teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, including empathy, personal maturity, and good self-awareness.
You must have a valid Class B driver's license (manual transmission) and a clean certificate of good conduct from the police.
Employment Conditions
- Salary: Monthly salary
- Employment type: Permanent position
- Duration: Permanent, start date: by agreement, ongoing selection
- Working hours: Shift schedule (day, evening, every other weekend, on-call)
We kindly but firmly decline direct contact from staffing and recruitment agencies as well as sales representatives. To ensure the quality of the recruitment process and enable good communication with our applicants, we ask that you apply online and not via email or in paper format.
