Amplius Care is a healthcare chain specializing in qualified assessment and treatment for children and families, supported housing, outpatient care, and foster care. Our operations are located in several towns in southern Sweden. We are expanding our operations and are now looking for two protection consultants to join our team.
About Amplius Supported Housing
Amplius Supported Housing is aimed at women and families with children aged 0–18 who are victims of domestic violence or honor-based violence and oppression. All residents receive support in the form of protection, practical assistance with authority contacts, counseling/child counseling, and other practical daily support. The goal is to offer as normal and functional a daily life as possible in a vulnerable situation. Our housing options are located in southern Sweden, and we offer accommodation in individual apartments or collective housing. The operation has a license from IVO (The National Board of Health and Welfare).
About the Role
As a protection consultant, you will meet with children and adults based on their specific situations, with a focus on safety. The work requires you to be a secure individual who, with great empathy and commitment, contributes to creating calm and safety both practically and emotionally. You must have the ability to build close and good relationships, as well as sensitivity to the needs of our residents and an understanding of their vulnerable situations.
We work on behalf of the social services, which includes conducting continuous risk and safety assessments and security planning. We operate based on a quality management system with associated routines and policies, where we systematically evaluate and improve our work. Collaboration with social services, other authorities, and organizations is central to us. Documentation and report writing are part of the role.
Duties include conversation support based on experienced violence, support during authority contacts, conducting risk and safety assessments, security planning, practical help, and emotional support. The duties are primarily performed in the home/residence of our residents, but can also be performed at Amplius offices. The role also involves picking up and dropping off individuals who are moving in or out.
Working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00, but may involve evening work on occasional occasions based on operational needs. During pick-ups and drop-offs, working hours are redistributed based on needs. We offer full-time employment, but can also consider a reduced scope of 75–80% if that suits you better. You are covered by flexible working hours.
About You
We are looking for you who have at least two years of post-secondary education in social work, such as a social worker or behavioral scientist, or have other education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent. You have at least two years of experience in social work, and we would appreciate if you have experience working with domestic violence (DV) and/or honor-based violence and oppression (HBV). It is an advantage if you have worked with risk and safety assessments such as Freda, Sara, Patriark, or SAM. Training in TMO (Trauma-Informed Care) is also an advantage.
You have a strong commitment to vulnerable groups, especially women exposed to violence and families with children, and you have a deep understanding of the impact of violence on the individual. You are both risk-aware and solution-focused. To thrive in this role, you need to be secure, stable, and unpretentious. You distinguish between the personal and the professional, are flexible, and adapt easily to changing circumstances. You have the ability to create good collaborative relationships and are a true team player. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Your knowledge of Swedish and English is good, both in speech and writing. Additional language skills are an advantage. Good computer skills and good knowledge of social documentation are necessary. A driver's license for passenger cars (Category B) is a requirement.
Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference, where you get to work in a company with high quality standards, and where development and improvement work is high on the agenda? Do you, like us, want to do that little extra and exceed expectations? We welcome your application!
About Us
At Amplius, we work for expanded care and support. Therefore, we always put as much care as possible into our operations. Because we believe that an evidence-based approach creates safe environments when they are needed most. Our operations are built on equal parts quality, professionalism, genuineness, and are permeated by commitment.
Those of us who are part of Amplius all have solid education and many years of qualified experience in meeting children, young people, and families in need of residential care, foster homes, or supported housing – both as care providers and as authorities.
How to Apply
Send your CV and cover letter to [email protected]. Mark the application "Skydd" (Protection). We conduct ongoing selection during the application period, so do not hesitate to send in your application as soon as possible. We conduct digital and physical interviews. For employment with us, extracts from the criminal record and suspicion register are required, which you bring to the physical interview.
We look forward to your application!
