Fixa Assistans is a family-oriented assistance company with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our head office is located in Karlshamn, and we operate throughout southern Sweden. We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 7-year-old girl in Hörvik. The position is a maternity leave replacement with an immediate start. You will work concentrated shifts of 12 hours for 7 days every other week (uneven calendar weeks). Day and night shifts are covered with double staffing. You will work in the girl's home with the family.

We primarily seek candidates who are enrolled nurses (undersköterska), childcare workers, or have other experience with disabilities. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and personal qualities, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have the aforementioned education or experience.

As a person, you must be responsible, sensitive, meticulous, easy-going, able to open up, and above all, have good patience. You must be calm, secure, and retain a childlike spirit. As a personal assistant in the family, you must be family-oriented and approachable as there are siblings in the household. The family also has pets. The work involves helping the girl with everything in her daily life, i.e., full care with significant responsibility, but also lots of play and fun. You must be completely non-smoking.

The nature of the work requires that you are fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, being able to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents, as well as follow established routines.

A driver's license is required as there is a minibus that you, as an assistant, will drive.
