Fixa Assistans is a family-run care agency with extensive experience in personal assistance for both children and adults. Our headquarters are located in Karlshamn, and we operate throughout southern Sweden. Through a close and engaged approach, we create security, community, and joy in everyday life – for users, relatives, and assistants.

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a man with mobility impairments living in Hallabro, north of Ronneby. An 80% position is to be filled immediately, and a 75% position is to be filled in August with an introduction in July. The work is mostly during daytime hours (07:00–17:15), one Saturday (daytime) every fourth week, and one evening every other week until 20:00.

We place great importance on personal chemistry and personal qualities. You must not be allergic to animals. Since the role often involves helping with manual transfers, you must not have any physical limitations. As you will be driving the client's own car, a valid driver's license is required. Access to your own car is also necessary for commuting, as public transportation is not an option.

As a person, you must be responsible, sensitive, flexible, patient, and able to take initiative and adapt your work to the user's needs. You must have a good ability to read needs and wishes, even when they are not expressed verbally. The pace of work is usually mixed.

The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example, being able to understand and read various instruction and checklist documents and follow established routines. The nature of the work also means that only female applicants are considered.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
