The Workplace

Vrena Friskola is a school and preschool with approximately 130 children and students. The school/preschool is located in a beautiful natural setting, close to a school forest and with a yard that inspires play and new discoveries.

Our main organization is Vrena Friskoleförening, a non-profit economic association that has started and run the school since 2012.

We are a workplace with good relationships between children and adults, and we actively work to create a safe environment for all children. We work with collegial learning, challenging our thoughts and working methods to seek development while helping each other learn.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you are part of a team of educators working at the preschool. Together with the children, you work to prepare them for life. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning the daily routine, which you implement and evaluate in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool, Lpfö 18. You lead the work on the department together with colleagues, which we see as a crucial part as collaboration regarding the children is of utmost importance.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher.

You are clear, secure, and stable in your professional role. You have the ability to collaborate with children, guardians, and other staff in the operations.

You have a positive outlook and believe in every individual's desire to develop and learn. You are unpretentious, solution-focused, and understand the benefits of working in a team and learning together. You have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented. You can collaborate with the school's student health team if needed. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operations.

Experience of working in a preschool is meritorious, and basic IT skills are required.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

An extract from the criminal record is a statutory requirement.

We are approximately 30 employees within Vrena Friskola, grades F–6, after-school care, and preschool combined.

Monthly salary, Individual salary setting

Employment type: Temporary position due to sickness absence.

Experience: Experience is meritorious.

Working hours: Daytime.

Start date: Start date is 2026-08-12 or by agreement.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken by already employed staff or if the conditions for recruitment change.

The preschool teachers at Vrena Friskola have the Almega Independent School Agreement as a collective agreement, which includes, among other things, occupational pension, ITP plan, and insurance.
