Nyköping is developing, construction is happening like never before, more people are choosing to move here, and our school organization is growing. We are now looking for a Receiving Class Teacher (Grundlärare fritidshem) for Bryngelstorpsskolan.

Job Description

We are looking for you who, as part of a team, want to develop the pedagogical work regarding our students in the after-school centers. As a Receiving Class Teacher, you are responsible for the pedagogical work together with the rest of the after-school team. Based on the central content of the curriculum, you create a meaningful, creative, and inspiring after-school activity and utilize knowledge in playful, creative, and language-developing methods.

We want our operations to be characterized by a positive outlook, and we have strong faith in the children's competencies. You collaborate with guardians, preschool teachers, teachers, the student health team, and school leadership to provide students with a good education. You document your own and the department's pedagogical work and results in various ways.

During school hours, you may teach in a subject you are qualified for, or you support students during lessons, breaks, in changing rooms, and in the cafeteria. We distribute different areas of responsibility among ourselves, which may mean that you are responsible for and lead break activities, food councils, student councils, or are part of the school's safety team, for example.

Qualifications

You are educated and licensed as a Receiving Class Teacher (Grundlärare) with a specialization in after-school centers.

You are a clear leader in the student group, are flexible, and have a positive view of students. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate curriculum goals into your work. You are engaged, responsive, creative, and courageous. You have good knowledge of playful, creative, and language-developing methods and see the importance of building good relationships.

From December 1, 2013, a license requirement applies for permanent employment. Please attach your license to your application.
