Substitute Teacher for Lower Secondary School at Frejaskolan, Gnesta

The position is located within the Child and Education Administration. We conduct statutory operations in the form of preschool, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, and student health services. Within the administration's area of responsibility, there is also a cultural school, youth center activities, open preschool, and the municipality's food service unit. The administration works on behalf of the Child and Education Committee.

Responsibilities

We are looking for substitutes who can step into lower secondary school classes. As a substitute, you may have various tasks, but your main responsibility is to take over lesson planning from teachers and conduct lessons. This includes preparing and conducting lessons, as well as providing feedback to the regular teacher on how things went.

We want lessons to maintain high quality even when regular teachers are absent. Therefore, it is important that as a substitute, you take responsibility for the classroom environment by maintaining the rules and norms that apply there, and that you maintain close dialogue with the substitute coordinator and regular teachers.

Qualifications

Since you will be taking over lessons at the lower secondary level, it is important that you have theoretical skills. You must have completed a theoretically oriented upper secondary education. It is a big plus if you have good skills in mathematics, and/or Swedish and English. As a person, you are good at building relationships, you have patience, and you are flexible.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
