Welcome to Tomtaklintskolan, one of the municipality's two lower secondary schools. Here, you will become part of a staff group with a positive development climate. Approximately 331 students attend the school, distributed across 13 classes, plus one class for Adapted Primary School (grades 6-9). WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WORK WITH US?

As a student assistant, you support the students' development and learning during the school day. It is your responsibility to build good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school and build relationships.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The role of student assistant at the lower secondary level involves providing pedagogical, social, and practical support to students who need extra help to manage their schooling. You need to be flexible and solution-oriented. The duties include supporting the student during the school day and, if necessary, being responsible for planning and conducting teaching. You work in a supportive and inclusive manner for all students based on the school's values and collaborate with teachers in daily work.

You have:

• Experience working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPD/ADHD/Autism)
• Knowledge of and experience with low-affective handling (calm, non-reactive interaction)
• The ability to build good relationships with young people and guardians

You have a positive basic attitude and a solution-oriented approach, always with the student's best interest in focus.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be self-assured, stable, and have good self-awareness. You take initiative easily and can kick-start activities in the operation.

Scope: Part-time/full-time 80-100%
