Rektor Area A

Our school area consists of four schools: Herrhagsskolan, Långsätterskolan, Nävekvarns skola, and Buskhyttans skola. Herrhagen is located on Arnö among villa housing with forest and nature close by. The school has a well-functioning student and security team as well as high teacher qualification levels. We have approximately 320 students.

Buskhyttan is located in the heart of the community of Buskhyttan, 1.5 miles south of Nyköping. The school has 26 students from preschool class to grade 3, as well as a leisure center department with space for all our students. Nävekvarn is located by the shore of Bråviken, approximately 2.5 miles from Nyköping. The school has just over 60 students from preschool class to grade 6. Job Responsibilities

In Area A, we are now looking for a certified primary school teacher (Grades F-3) for Herrhagsskolan. We work in teams where each team has a team leader from EHT (Student Health Team). Together, you will develop your teaching so that you reach the students' development in the best possible way. You are part of the team and are responsible for teaching, mentorship, contact with guardians, as well as planning and follow-up of your teaching. Together, you challenge each other to develop as educators. Your teaching should be characterized by an inclusive learning environment and high student activity.

You are expected to participate in collegial learning, be part of the school's quality work, and participate actively in work group meetings.

You work daily with security to create favorable conditions for attendance among our students.

Qualifications

You have a primary school teaching degree and a clear ability to drive teaching and development forward through a language- and knowledge-developing approach. You see school development and systematic quality work as a natural and important part of your assignment, and you actively contribute to strengthening both teaching and the organization.

As a teacher, you are present, research-oriented, and engaged. You challenge and stimulate students in a way that creates motivation, curiosity, and development. You have a strong belief in teamwork and collegial learning as a central success factor for pedagogical development, and you gladly participate in joint processes where professional knowledge is shared and deepened.

For the position, it is important that you have good cooperation skills, as the work involves continuous dialogue and collaboration with colleagues and other professions within the school. You have high relational competence and create secure groups as well as a trusting collaboration with guardians. You have good knowledge of and apply a low-affective approach.

We are looking for you who have experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and who know how to create good conditions in groups with great variation in both knowledge and behavior. You have confidence in your leadership and an understanding of how structures, relationships, and teaching interact so that all students succeed.

The position requires that you master Swedish well in both speech and writing.

From December 1, 2013, a certification requirement applies for permanent employment. Attach your certification to your application.
