District C includes four schools: Bryngelstorpskolan, Rosenkällaskolan, Stenkullaskolan, and Sjösa skola. District C has approximately 700 students from preschool class to grade 6. In total, there are about 130 people working in the school district.

District C is now looking for a teacher in textile crafts at Bryngelstorpskolan and Sjösa skola. You will primarily teach textile crafts but may also be asked to teach art or work as an extra pedagogical assistant in the classroom. We are looking for a teacher who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have strong faith in the students' abilities. A strong value base and a positive view of students are very important to us.
Your main task as a teacher is to be responsible for the students' learning and development through teaching, guidance, and support. You choose methods, approaches, and content based on each student's individual needs and prerequisites so that students have good opportunities to meet the knowledge requirements. Documenting, following up, evaluating, and communicating student development with guardians are other important tasks.
Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for the students. As a teacher, you are part of a work team and a mentor team. You work based on the curriculum and translate the curriculum's goals into meaningful learning. We have a strong student focus, and the pedagogical work starts from the students' needs. In your role, you strive to create an equal learning environment for students that provides the conditions to achieve knowledge goals and personal development in an optimal way.
To support your work with our students, we have our student health services with a social pedagogue, special education teacher, and school nurse.
You will teach in the craft room at Bryngelstorpskolan, and students from Sjösa will come to that room. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a fellow craft teacher.
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 3–6 with the qualification to teach crafts. As a person, you are engaged, creative, responsive, and empathetic. You have very good collaboration skills and can lead and participate in various networks. You are driven in quality work, documentation, and can work independently.
You have good pedagogical skills and are skilled at motivating and inspiring our students. Naturally, you have a positive attitude and meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. You are structured, flexible, and work with a clear focus on goals.
You see school development and systematic quality work as an important process in your daily life and part of the school's and teacher's mission. For this position, it is important that you have good collaboration skills as your work requires continuous collaboration with other teachers and professionals within the school.
We would appreciate it if you have experience working with students in lower and middle school.
