The Education Division has over 1,900 employees working together to provide children, young people, and adults with a good education. We focus on stimulating student learning based on their prerequisites and offer some of society's most important services. Here, your work makes a real difference.
We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, special primary schools, Nyköping Upper Secondary School, special upper secondary schools, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in tandem with the municipality. We are now looking for a Primary School Teacher (Grades F-3) for Svalsta School.
The F-9 operations cover 17 primary schools and special schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, deputy principals, and student welfare teams. With schools both in urban areas and in the countryside, we work to increase equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.
In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language-developing approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.
The Kiladal school area has approximately 450 students in grades F–6 and includes school buildings in Svalsta, Bergshammar, Jönåker, and Ålberga. A total of approximately 80 people work within the area. The schools are located along the old E4 highway outside Nyköping, with schoolyards close to nature.
We consciously work with the Education Division's school development plan, focusing on collegial learning and natural leadership regardless of function in the operation. For us, it is important that you, as an applicant, are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can put them into action. We work on the premise that every employee both shares their competence and experience and is curious about their colleagues. This is how we learn together and also capture our students' curiosity and desire to learn!

We are now looking for a Grades F-3 teacher with mentor responsibilities for Grade 1 at Svalsta School, a F-6 school with an associated preschool class and after-school center. The school has approximately 245 students, and we have a staff of approximately 35. We are a single-track school, where each grade level has two or three mentors who work closely together and are responsible for teaching and mentoring.
We are looking for a Primary School Teacher with a license issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the goals of the curriculum into your work. You have clear leadership and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a secure and well-founded educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop.
A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians alike. We consider it particularly meritorious to have good reviews regarding good leadership in the classroom, as well as experience and competence related to early reading and writing acquisition or/and mathematics.
From December 1, 2013, a license requirement applies for permanent employment. Attach your license to your application.
