Job Responsibilities

Your position will primarily consist of teaching mathematics. There are other subject teachers at the school, which enables collaboration and joint development of the subject. Additionally, you will teach another subject based on your qualifications. You will plan, teach, and evaluate lessons for your students in grades 7-9. With creativity and engagement, you will convey knowledge in your subjects while actively working to create inclusive and inspiring teaching that motivates students. You belong to the lower secondary school team and are a class mentor, together with a colleague.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching degree and teaching certification with qualifications in mathematics, as well as another subject. We would appreciate if you have experience teaching according to the LGR22 curriculum. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good IT skills, as you will use digital tools as part of your teaching.

You have good subject knowledge and the ability to pedagogically convey this in the classroom. It is important that you have a good understanding of students' different prerequisites and are skilled at adapting your teaching accordingly. You communicate easily and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You base your work on proven experience that draws on current research.
