Slottsskolan 7-9 is Vingåker's only upper secondary school (grades 7-9) and is centrally located in the municipality. The school has approximately 230 students distributed across four classes per grade, as well as special education groups. We work in three teams consisting of dedicated teachers, special education teachers, and student assistants to create the best possible conditions for students' learning and development.
The school was inaugurated in January 2020 and is built to meet the needs of both students and teachers. It features modern facilities with smart technical solutions that promote innovative and efficient learning. Every room and subject-specific space is adapted to the specific needs of the subject, giving you as staff the best conditions to conduct your teaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal suitability is very important. You will work as a teacher in our special education group, Safiren. You will work closely with the students in a learning environment designed to provide conditions for quiet study. The main tasks involve providing individualized support, including social and emotional aspects. By supporting the student in structure, calmness, and social skills, you lead the instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Based on the special needs of the students, we are looking for a calm and secure person who sees the unique needs of each individual. You remain calm even in challenging situations and possess strong empathetic abilities.
Applicants should have previous experience working in primary/secondary schools and in special education groups.
- You have personal suitability, are responsible, structured, and have a positive attitude.
- You are interested in developing students through teaching and in social contexts.
- You are interested in how different needs affect a student's learning and how we can best compensate for these together. You work with a low-affective approach.
- You are creative and can adapt teaching and content based on unforeseen events and situations, always meeting challenges with a professional attitude.
