Welcome to Stigtomta School, which is part of Principal Area D together with Råby School and Släbro School in Nyköping. Stigtomta School has a holistic view of learning that permeates the entire operation, including preschool class, school, and after-school care.

We are looking for a teacher who wants to make a positive difference for students in their lifelong learning. Job Responsibilities

Stigtomta School is looking for a teacher who wants to make a positive difference for students in their lifelong learning. You will work in grades 4-6 and be part of a team where you are expected to contribute actively with a solution- and result-oriented approach. You work together with a teaching colleague, support pedagogues, and after-school staff. Your joint task is to lead and support students in their social and academic development.

In the team, the pedagogues help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day as well as breaks. Your daily work includes standard teaching tasks, student work, collaboration with after-school care, development work, and contact with parents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to be part of developing the pedagogical work around our students. You are creative, dare to think new thoughts, and are driven by developing children's talents. You have a student focus and support students in their knowledge development.

We are looking for you who has a big heart for students and their needs, an inclusive outlook, and the ability to see how the individual student's needs are best met. You have a good ability to work with security and study environment. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the goals of the curriculum into your daily work. You are goal- and result-oriented, have good leadership qualities, are low-affective in your handling, are flexible, and collaborate towards the organization's common goals.

The position requires that you master Swedish well in both speech and writing, and have experience in planning and teaching.

You have a teaching license and are qualified to work up to grade 6.

Interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
