About Us

Dammsdalskolan in Vingåker is a boarding school with nationwide intake, specializing in children and young people within the NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) spectrum. We offer a holistic solution with school and accommodation within the framework of four school forms: adapted compulsory school, compulsory school, adapted upper secondary school, and upper secondary school.

Your Responsibilities

Dammsdalskolan offers you an exciting daily routine where you have the opportunity to meet each individual student based on their specific needs. We want you to have a strong commitment to your students and be skilled at building relationships with others. Your tasks are varied and include preparation, implementation, and follow-up of teaching, internships, documentation, and development work.

Your ambition is to always keep the student in focus, and you are convinced that everyone can learn more based on their own individual prerequisites. You have a deep understanding of students' differences in learning and you treat the students with clarity and high positive expectations.

You are an active, creative person who works to create an stimulating and developmental activity with the student's needs at the center. You see opportunities before obstacles and have a positive outlook that permeates your interaction and attitude towards your entire surroundings.

You are physically active and enjoy moving around together with the students.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you with at least a completed upper secondary education. You have inner drive and are an active person with great patience and humility. You are interested and curious about the school as a field of activity and have a strong interest in young people. You have interest and experience with young people who may be perceived as having challenging behaviors. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. A B-class driver's license is required. Personal suitability will be considered.

Permanent position with start date as agreed. Placement within the school operations at Dammsdalskolan.
