Welcome to Tomtaklintskolan, one of the municipality's two lower secondary schools. Here, you will become part of a staff group with a positive development climate. Approximately 330 students are divided into 13 classes. In the autumn of 2026, we will launch a lower secondary class for students in Adapted Primary School. The group will consist of 6–7 students.

You will have the opportunity to work with us to create a school where dynamic structures and clear frameworks allow us to adapt our operations to the unique conditions of our students and classes. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WORK WITH US?

We place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school. The educators work in close cooperation with each other throughout the student's entire school day with us. It is important that you contribute your experience, knowledge, and creative abilities in various ways to the development of the students and the operations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have:

• Education, knowledge, and experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
• Experience meeting students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD).
• Experience being responsible for students' care needs.
• Experience working with the target group within Adapted Primary School.

We want you to be able to use your experience and competence to contribute to an exciting, stimulating pedagogical environment where the student is the focus. We expect a professional attitude towards students and parents in various forums.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily able to put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be self-assured, stable, and have good self-insight. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operations. You have a good understanding of how children acquire knowledge and the different conditions for learning. You take initiative and easily start activities in the operations.
