Assignment Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer.

What You Will Work On

• Define requirements, design, and verify advanced networking products
• Lead bring-up activities for new hardware platforms
• Work with platforms utilizing technologies such as Microchip Ethernet devices and Cisco modules
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues
• Develop and validate Ethernet-based solutions over copper and fiber networks
• Verify and debug PHY, MDIO, SFP/SFP+, and related interfaces
• Support the development of embedded networking platforms and products
• Collaborate closely with electronics, firmware, and software development teams
• Act as a technical liaison between hardware and software disciplines
• Perform system-level verification and validation activities
• Analyze technical issues across multiple layers of the system stack
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture descriptions, test results, and analysis reports
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions and product development strategies

What You Bring

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of experience in system engineering, embedded development, or networking-related product development
• Deep understanding of Ethernet technologies and low-level networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and hardware-near debugging
• Experience working with PHY, MDIO, or similar communication interfaces
• Experience with U-Boot and/or Embedded Linux environments
• Strong knowledge of hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Experience with or solid understanding of SFP/SFP+ modules and optical transceivers
• Ability to investigate and solve complex issues spanning both hardware and software domains
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
