Do you want to take on a key role where you have technical ownership of the robotics and parts-handling track and shape how future automated solutions are built? At the world-leading global industrial company System 3R, you will step directly into a highly competent development team driving pioneering automation and enabling Lights Out Factory production worldwide. For you as an experienced and driven programmer, this offers a unique expert role with great innovation freedom, a strong technical culture, and attractive employment benefits.
About the role
System 3R is driving a long-term and strategic investment in advanced automation, where FANUC robots, collaborative robots (cobots), and AMR systems (Autonomous Mobile Robots) are integrated with in-house developed software to enable Lights Out Factory production for customers globally.
In this role, you will become part of a tight-knit development team of approximately 10 people in Vällingby. The team currently possesses very strong software competence in C# and the WSM system (WorkShop Manager) and is now looking for its dedicated expert who can take full responsibility for the robotics area. Together with another experienced FANUC robot programmer, you will be responsible for programming and configuration through to final integration in complex production environments. This role suits you if you thrive with high technical responsibility, have strong personal drive, and appreciate the freedom to structure and shape how solutions are built.
What we offer
- A go-to expert role within a critical and rapidly growing technical area at a world-leading player.
- Great innovation freedom where you help shape how future automated robotics solutions will be built.
- A stable employment in a global company (part of the Georg Fischer Group) characterized by a strong, down-to-earth, and technical culture.
- Benefits such as 6 weeks of vacation, flexible working hours (flextime), a generous wellness allowance of 4,000 SEK/year, and secure conditions via the Technical Agreement.
Responsibilities
- Program and configure FANUC robots (and other industrial variants) for advanced parts handling applications.
- Work hands-on with collaborative robots (cobots) and implement and integrate them into advanced production environments.
- Configure and optimize vision systems, camera integrations, advanced gripper systems, and part feeding solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the software and technology team to ensure seamless system functionality and integration with System 3R's own applications.
- Troubleshoot, performance-optimize, and continuously maintain the developed robotics solutions.
We are looking for you who
- Have at least 5 years (preferably closer to 10 years) of practical experience in robot programming, for example within FANUC, ABB, or similar industrial robot platforms.
- Have solid experience working with peripheral equipment such as vision cameras, conveyor belts, gripper systems, and part feeding.
- Have experience with or a good understanding of collaborative robots (cobots).
- Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, as you will work in an international environment with mixed nationalities.
It is an extra advantage if you:
- Have very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Have a background from an integrator company or a smaller private company with a focused and deep robotics focus.
- Have experience with AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) or an official FANUC certification.
- Have a basic understanding of C# or software integration with robot systems.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal traits:
- Driven and self-reliant: You naturally take initiative, drive your own processes forward, and enjoy working independently without micromanagement.
- Responsible and goal-oriented: You have the ability to build up, structure, and take full ownership of an entire technical area.
- Problem-solving and hands-on: You have a strong passion for practical technology, are persistent in your troubleshooting work, and are motivated by seeing your solutions work in the physical reality.
