About your role
As IT Operations Manager, you are responsible for the administration and operational delivery of Ahlén's business-critical systems. You lead the team of system administrators and ensure that our system environments are stable, secure, and deliver the service levels the business requires.
The role is both operational and strategic, combining leadership, technology, and business development. This means that you not only lead the team but are also technically involved when needed, for example during incidents, major changes, or technical improvements.
An important part of the role is also to develop how we work with system administration, incident and problem management, and vendor management. Your role will be central to the goal of creating a more structured, service-oriented, and modern administration organization.
You have special responsibility for our most central and critical business systems and need to understand how ERP, cash registers, logistics flows, and integrations work together in a modern retail business. The role involves many contact points with both the business and external vendors, where you are expected to set requirements, follow up on deliveries, and ensure that agreed service levels are met.
Examples of tasks
- Responsible for operations, further development, and technical administration of ERP systems and other business-critical systems
- Ensure administration and stable operation of Ahlén's SaaS-based system landscape
- Lead, coach, and develop the team of system administrators
- Drive and lead RCA processes (Root Cause Analysis) during major incidents
- Ensure that vendors deliver according to contracts and SLAs
- Be Ahlén's primary contact person towards system vendors and service partners
- Set requirements and conduct technical dialogues with system vendors
- Work on improvements to system architecture, integrations, and technical working methods
- Collaborate closely with the business to ensure that the systems support the business processes

What you bring to us:
- Several years of experience in operations, administration, and development of business-critical systems
- Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Finance & Operations
- Experience from retail business with an understanding of sales, logistics, and central business processes
- Good understanding of system architecture, integrations, and APIs
- Experience working in cloud-based environments (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS)
- Experience with incident management and structured problem solving
- Experience with vendor management and follow-up of deliveries against SLAs
- Leadership experience
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
