We are now looking for a Development Manager who wants to help shape the future of the deposit system and strengthen our ability to deliver modern, efficient, and secure digital services. About the Role

As a Development Manager, you will have a central role in driving the development of digital services and working methods, where AI and automation are key enablers. You will work on identifying development opportunities, leading change initiatives that create prerequisites for a smarter, more data-driven, and efficient operation, and ensuring that solutions are implemented and used efficiently and sustainably.

You will contribute to the new development of AI solutions and explore possible use cases within the organization. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the business, various IT functions, and external system suppliers to develop working methods, processes, and digital solutions that create concrete business value.

Examples of Tasks:

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.
• Drive the development of modern working methods and digital services supported by AI and automation.
• Manage and further develop existing IT systems.
• Provide support and training to employees to ensure efficient system usage and a good user experience.
• Ensure that the development process is followed through needs analysis, requirement specification, testing, and implementation.
• Monitor the external environment to broaden perspectives and continuously develop yourself and the organization.

About You

You are a person with a holistic perspective, who likes to inspire others and enjoys turning ideas into concrete results. You have the ability to understand how processes, systems, governance, and organization are interconnected.

As a person, you are analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to break down complex issues and turn them into concrete and long-term sustainable solutions that support both strategic and operational decisions. You collaborate easily while being self-motivated and able to plan and drive your work towards set goals.

Qualifications:

• Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent experience assessed as equal.
• Several years of experience in IT development, system administration, and business development.
• Experience in implementing AI, RPA, or other automation.
• Experience with Microsoft environments (DevOps, SQL Server, Teams, etc.).
• Experience in leading workshops, dialogues, and anchoring work.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.

Some know us as Returpack, others as Pantamera. And everyone is equally welcome. The Pantamera brand is operated by Returpack AB. We are a privately owned company, where our owners are the industry organizations Sveriges Bryggerier (Swedish Brewers), Svensk Dagligvaruhandel (Swedish Grocery Retail), and Livsmedelshandlarna (Food Retailers). We currently operate an approved return system for beverage packaging with deposits. Since our founding in 1984, we have continuously developed the deposit system together with other actors in the value chain.
