Role Description
In the role of Process Leader for Change, Release, and Configuration, you will hold a key position in our continued development of modern IT delivery, where the pace of change, stability, and control need to be balanced sustainably. The role is newly established and has a special focus on Change and Release, where you ensure that changes are carried out in a structured, controlled, and efficient manner - without slowing down the pace of development.

You are responsible for developing and steering the processes within Change, Release, and Configuration, with the goal of creating clarity, traceability, and the right level of risk in the change work. At the same time, you actively work to ensure that the processes are pragmatic, efficient, and adapted to modern working methods.

The work takes place in close collaboration with agile teams, platform functions, CI/CD flows, and a service-based working approach, where ITIL processes are continuously developed to support delivery rather than create unnecessary complexity. You operate in the borderland between structure and flexibility, ensuring that change flows work in practice and are well integrated into both tools and daily work.

The role in brief:

• Responsible for and developing change, release, and configuration processes
• Drive and coordinate changes (CAB, prioritization, risk assessment)
• Ensure that changes are traceable, controlled, and documented
• Develop and maintain structure around CMDB and configuration data in sync with the Service Owner
• Ensure balance between control and delivery speed
• Work on the connection between ITIL and CI/CD/DevOps flows

The position is located at our headquarters in central Linköping.

Your Profile and Background
We are looking for you who thrive in a role where you both get to set structure and improve processes, and who ensures that working methods are efficient without becoming overburdened or unnecessarily complex. You follow up, create learning over time, and are driven by developing working methods that work in practice.

You are curious, pragmatic, and accustomed to creating progress and building trusting collaborations within IT, preferably with experience of working closely with a development organization.

In terms of experience, we are looking for you who have:

• Good experience within IT infrastructure/operations and maintenance
• Experience with change and release processes
• Good understanding of CMDB and configuration management
• Worked in organizations with both ITIL and agile working methods
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You do not need to have had the responsibility to build change and release processes from scratch. If you have worked on improving processes to meet the organization's needs for compliance and feel called to step into a role with significant personal responsibility, you might be the right person for the role!
